On January 1, 2021: Brexit resulted in the United Kingdom's exit from the European Union (EU), marking the end of free movement of goods between UK and EU member states.

Since this date, trade of goods between UK and EU has been treated as trade between two third countries, thus requiring customs formalities and border checks.

ASA supports you with all your customs formalities to and from England

From the beginning, we have been working to ensure the smooth implementation of Brexit, making sure that customs duties and all formalities are correctly applied and managed!

ASA has successfully grown and responded to a crucial need for border crossings: customs services to and from England. Our role as customs broker is essential in the post-Brexit context. While our expertise is focused on trade between UK and EU, we remain constantly informed of trends and regulations in international trade to provide comprehensive support services. This allows us to anticipate potential changes in British and French customs regulations and to adapt our services to stay at the forefront of our field.

Each partner using our services for customs documents to or from England, and UK in general, can rely on an experienced customs declarant who represents their interests in a professional and efficient manner. We are also actively present at the heart of customs exchanges between France and England at French ports and terminals.

We have a Brexit-Customs service located at the O3 parking area on the Port of Calais, which handles our customs declaration requests. This service manages all types of declarations, including sanitary ones, as well as any other requests on behalf of third parties.

When passing through for sanitary/veterinary inspections at our dedicated sites in France, we can also provide your customs declaration without requiring a stop at our Calais TruckStop parking area. This is a major advantage, as it simplifies and saves time during your Brexit formalities, since customs procedures can be completed remotely in this specific case.

As customs declarant, we are your point of contact, representing you at every step, particularly at the border, throughout the entire import-export process between UK and EU.
