Consignee agent

(ASA) This is the legal representative of the shipowner in a port. He takes care of the technical, practical and administrative areas during the stopover of the ship. The consignee agent is in charge of the physical organization of the stopover but also of taking care of all the steps relating to the cargo, the transport tickets for the goods, the documents for the export, the customs declarations if necessary.
